I worked on Korn's most recent music video (yeah, they're still around) for the song Narcissistic Cannibal. The band was super cool but I would be a dick if I didn't mention the fans. These kids were in line before sunrise to get in. Not only were they die hards before the gig but afterward they helped the stage hands load into their trucks.
The production company was Shadow Animation and everything but the clips of the band performing were done in post.
Cool gig and while I haven't been a Korn fan during the bands 18 year (and running) history I think this song is pretty good. Check it out.
I was 1st AD for Kimberly Cole's most recent music video, Smack You, in August. We shot at a warehouse currently being renovated in downtown LA. We had a grungy fight-club feel with amazing production design by Melissa Balter. Brian Thompson directed the video.
Anthony Pang was our 2nd AD and did an absolutely amazing job wrangling extras and helping coordinate talent between the set and make-up. Sean Jennings, our 2nd 2nd, was his normal self on set, the perfect hype man and shouting out 'quiet on set' louder than I'll ever be able to.
